The global energy supply is under pressure because of conflicts in important regions that produce and transport oil. One of the most critical areas for oil transport is the Strait of Hormuz, through which a large portion of the world’s oil passes. Any disruption in this region affects oil supply globally. As a result, crude oil prices are rising, and countries are struggling to maintain stable fuel costs.
